D.D. Alexander is a former educator who has returned to writing. Her co-author for the Finder's Trilogy recently had his nonfiction book, Still a Hollow Hope published by the University of Michigan Press (2022). This is the first foray into collaborating for commercial fiction for both authors.

Gnomes are my favorite fantastical creatures. They're sarcastic, sharp-witted, and forthright, but can also be dim, crazy, and even a bit sinister. They're the perfect canvas for my style of humor, and I'm not ashamed to admit, the diminutive earth dwellers inspire some of my most creative allegories, anecdotes, and fables.
