Gnomism: Take Heed
A fable by D.D. Alexander
A gnome was none too happy to discover a group of pixies frolicking in his garden. As he was pulling weeds, he groused for all to hear, "Noisy pixies, wouldn't know a day's hard work if it pinched the end of their wings!"Dashing to and fro the frisky sprites ignored the old gnome's admonishment and started a rambunctious game of Tip the Tulip, oblivious to a sign which read: Beware of Toad. The gnome, irritated by the squeals of laughter, threw down his spade and stalked off to have an early lunch. Upon his return, he found his garden deserted, and a potbellied toad asleep amongst the Tulipa Gesneriana. ~Balance between work and play should keep one from trouble.
